James has in-depth hydrological experience in Australia, gained through senior, or executive roles at The Bureau of Meteorology, and Sunwater through some of Australia’s most extreme weather events, including the Queensland/Brisbane floods of 2011, Townsville in 2019, and also through drought planning for Central Queensland in 2019. He’s done the job at 3am, in high pressure situations with the worlds media watching, and understands the people, systems, corporate, and cultural elements that underpin successful management of water. He was called out by the Queensland Premier in Parliament for his expertise.
